Not Really SWINE Flu

Hmm, this is interesting.

The term "Swine flu" isn't accurate as to what the flu is or where it comes from.

Naturally saying "swine" is going to make people think that eating pork is now bad for them. And apparently it's not, since you don't catch the flu from food.

This is an important distinction to make, especially since I like to have bacon in the morning and enjoy a regular diet of the "Other White Meat."

Keep raising hogs, butchering them, processing them, and selling them. And we'll keep eating them. Remember the word, folks, you don't catch the flu from eating meat.
